I have hooded monolids that are also greasy... the worse combination! I always have to have a smudge proof liner rather than just a waterproof type. This is a easy to use felt tip pen that is well pigmented. I found that the black brush type is more blue-gray based but the pen is more gray-black based black which is more flattering for my very yellow understones. Because I have hooded lids I always make a thick cateye style but the bad thing about having to use a thick line is that I use up more product quicker. One pen lasts me about 2-3 months with everyday use (my Urban Decay 24/7 liquid Liner can last 4 months or longer) however for the pricepoint this is perfect especially since you're not supposed to keep eye liners for that long anyway. For those that can use a thin libre  thispen will probably last a long time. The formula dries relatively quickly and makes a nice very black line.

I first use primer a little powder (can be translucent powder skin colored shadow or colored  doesn't matter) and put the liner over. When I use it like this  my liner can last 14+hours.
