I absolutely love these pads.  I use them every other day instead of every day.  I love how you can choose your manual exfoliation level by choosing how hard you press on your skin (I wouldn't recommend pressing too hard).  After that, you can wipe off the dead skin cells with the other side of the pad.  Being able to put your fingers inside the pad helps make the scrubbing easier.  Your skin turns a little bit purple from the wine so you will have to rinse off with water.  It's not a big deal- you do not want to keep the active ingredients on your skin for too long anyway.  The one thing that I am not crazy about is the smell.  It smells like cheap sugary grape juice and not so much wine.  It is not a huge issue.  It's not a nauseating smell.  Just not one that I can say that I love.  I will gladly smell it for the benefits that these pads give.  They are a part of my regimen now and likely will be for quite some time!  Thank you, Neogen!
