I was on the lookout for a light, watery type moisturizer and as I had already tried the gel cream from this line, I decided to buy Tonymoly's The Fresh Phytoncide Pore Essence to see if I'd like it just as much.

My skin type: mid-twenties/normal/slightly oily T-zone/arid climate.

Pros:

- The scent of this product is absolutely wonderful. It's very light and disappears quickly, but it smells exactly like I would have imagined cypress tree water would smell like.

- How smoothly it goes on my skin. It's a very light texture that I imagine would feel even better in the summer (especially if you keep it in your refrigerator for a bit!)

Cons:

- None, though since this product contains several different kinds of alcohol I think it would suit normal/oily skin types better than normal/dry skin types.


In conclusion: 5 or 5 stars. I would consider buying this again.

I would recommend this essence to people who:

- have normal/oily skin
- live in hot climates
- don't like heavy moisturizers
