I got the Volume one some time ago, and I had high hopes for this. The Volume one felt like it was dry, and I'd just opened the tube! The mascara is clumpy, does not go on smoothly and is very difficult to remove with warm water. Unlike the Banana one, which I also tried and liked way better. My advice is to either choose a different variety or go for a different brand, luckily there are many options on this site ;)
